Porkchop

Horse’s like this aren’t the kind that come around every day and probably only a few times in a life-time. Porkchop is a 15.3 hh 1450# 7 year old crossbred gelding and you won’t even have to wear the tires off your truck trying to find him because he’s right here in front you. You’d notice him from outer space with the naked eye. Porkchop is a really nice ranch horse but he’s also the kind grandma and the kids can ride if they want to come help too. He’s drug 1000’s of calves to the fire, treated as many on grass and been ridden in rough country to gather. Leave him off the whole winter and he’s gonna be the same horse when you swing a leg over him come spring time. Porkchop is really nice to cowboy on but you darn sure don’t have to be a cowboy to ride him. I’ve packed Porkchop the last year and a half to the PBR’s and BRC’s shagging bulls and he handles the light shows and fireworks with no issues. Porkchop has all the buttons, gets around himself really nice and is really keen on a cow. He rides in the bridle or without one at all. Porkchop is super gentle on the ground, will stand tied all day and is gentle to handle his feet. Horse’s like this are hard to come by and it’s not going to be easy to watch him step on a different trailer, but he’s gonna make someone a good one for a really long time. Take him and keep ranching on him or have a really safe mountain and pleasure horse to take to the hills. Saddle him with confidence pull a tight cinch and step on. FMI call Drew (403)963-8766.
