Ruby

Ruby is a 2015 mare standing at 15.1 hands tall. She is a good looking Bay Roan and my go-to horse. I’ve been riding her for three years, Always able to just get on and go. Having many rides in arenas and out in pastures. This amazing horse and I have worked with cows, turning them back while people are working cutting horses, as well as bringing cows in from the pastures. I’ve worked with Ruby on the cutting flag. She has always had a calm and willing disposition, making her a reliable partner in both work and leisure.
Ruby is easy to open gates on and has always gone wherever I directed her, whether it’s across rough terrain or through challenging obstacles. She is very easy to catch, loads into trailers effortlessly, and is very gentle around kids, making her a perfect family horse. Her gentle nature and steady temperament make her a great fit for riders of all experience levels and she has been a great horse that I learned a lot on.
Ruby is ready to go in any direction, whether for work, or pleasure riding. She has done multiple day trips to the mountains and crosses creeks and rivers with ease, showcasing her sure-footedness and adaptability.
Ruby has demonstrated potential in other areas, such as ranch work, or possibly even as a teaching horse for beginner riders. Her versatility and good manners make her a standout horse in many different settings.
