Cute, handy, broke and friendly! Cowboy is a grade 9 year old gelding standing 14 hands. Cowboy was used all summer calving and riding pasture looking after 3000 pairs making big miles through coulees and hills. Calving, doctoring, gathering and riding fence. This fall and winter he easily switched to the top horse in the feedyard pulling sick cattle, sorting opening gates, loading trucks and being roped off of.

Don’t let his small stature fool you, he doesn’t know he’s little and is always ready no matter how long the miles or big the job. He rides like a big horse collects, side passes and he works a rope like a champ! Bail to a calf on pasture and let him put you there then drag his butt to stop. Or sneak a loop on a steer in the feedlot he’ll pull it down and hold it tight all day! Watches a cow like a good border collie and will make it look easy taking one out the gate or stripping pairs.

Easy to catch and good to shoe, Cowboy is ready to be thrown in anyone’s string. Ranch on him all week and haul him to town to 4H or gymkhana. He’s the perfect size and temperament for the whole family to enjoy! This is the horse that will work his heart out for mom and dad on the ranch and keep kids smiling when they steal him to enjoy!
