Johnny is well broke, smooth moving 5 yr old blue roan Gelding. We bought him from the breeder as a 2yr old. Johnny is as gentle as they come, he is great to ride inside or out. He spent a few months at a community pasture where he was exposed to all aspects of ranch work, including moving, doctoring and sorting cattle. While he was there he was also used at brandings and a couple rodeos to clear stock from the arena. Johnny has been started in the team roping this winter as well. We have both headed and heeled on him. With a little more time he will somebody’s number one. He has an easy way to cattle and is well behaved in the box. From his real life work experience he handles the weight on the horn like an old pro. Johnny is safe for anyone, he rides alone quiet and will stand tied contently all day long.
