Gem

Hello everyone I’d like to introduce you to Gem. She’s a 7 year old, 15.3hh Percheron/Clyde. A true gentle giant. With an incredible mind, this mare has the looks and beauty that’ll catch your eye!
Gem was started as a 3 year old under harness and has had over 3 years of driving experience. Single, and double. She has done wagon rides, sleigh rides, farm equipment, and has drug single tires. She has also had colts hooked with her and she’s done excellent with teaching.
Gem was started under saddle over a year and a half ago, and she took to it like she’s been doing it for years. She’s very easy going, and very teachable. She is one of those horses where you can just hop on and you don’t have to worry about any B.S
Her experiences under saddle is lots of bush miles, and she can take you all day. She’s got a big motor and isn’t fazed by anything. Shes been to the mountains, crosses creeks, bog, and crosses over trees with ease. she has ponied pack horses as well. Gem has also been packed in the bush and the mountains too.

She can open and close gates, has a beautiful W/T/L and is very soft in the face. Shes been desensitized with all kinds of tools such as (tarps, bull whips, gun shots, swinging a rope off her etc)
Currently she is being used to start colts off of her and she’s is my go to horse for any situation I need her. She’s trustworthy, safe and is always the same horse every time I get on her. Never had any funny business with her. Shes a true sweetheart and loves people.

She is easy to catch, she does not need a stalk to be trimmed. You can trim her with a grinder or nippers. Excellent to shoe as well and has a number 4 shoe size.
Loads and hauls great! Up to date with worming and vaccines.

I would recommend an intermediate rider as she knows buttons, and does like to work.
She will be shown in the top gun sale under saddle and not in harness.
