Meet Baloo! He’s only looking for the bare necessities, oh the simple bare necessities so you can forget about your worries and your strife. While our Baloo may not be a big lovable Disney bear, he is aptly named and just as gentle hearted. He loves the finer things in life, being scratched on and fussed over, a sunny trail ride, working on new things in the arena, a mosey through the cows, and especially dinner time. At 10yrs old and standing a sizeable 15.3 with a size 1 foot, Baloo has great bone and substance, is gentle to trim, and moves like a big horse should. He has his own motor with no funny business included, just a simple, straightforward ride, country covering stride, and a few buttons to make it all enjoyable.

Easy to catch, load, tie, blanket, bridle, and saddle, Baloo is easy to have in the barn and low man in the pecking order, he will babysit your weanlings or go out in a mixed herd no problem. Baloo has enjoyed an easier speed to life, he hasn’t had the legs rode off him and he doesn’t need to be rode down to be a good citizen. Baloo does do best in semi consistent work at minimum, getting out and about a couple times a week is perfect whether its a tour around the block or an indoor ride out of the weather.

Baloo rides inside and out, solo or with a group, and he will be brought to rope nights throughout the winter. He is sure footed and would thrive in the mountains, arena, or on the ranch- whichever way you want to take him.
