Description
Jay is a 5 year old gelding that is good minded and gentle. He has a quiet demeanour and stays level headed in any situation we’ve been in. Saddles good with time off and has no vices. After a full days work he is eager to get tacked up the next morning, and is always first to the gate. Jay has the athletic ability and mind to go any direction. He has been used for all aspects of ranch work. From Sorting pairs, breaking colts, dragging calves, loading trucks and doctoring out in pasture. He has currently ran around 150 steers on the heeling side and will be roped on until sale day. Jay is super willing and trainable making the transition into the roping arena easy. Good barn manners, stands for farrier, baths, ties and is up to date on dental and worming.
