“Remi” – Zbar Starlight Olena

“Remi” is a 5 year old AQHA gelding, that we have owned since a weanling. “Remi” is the true definition of an all-around horse. He has had a gentle and quiet demeanor since we halter broke him at 5 months old. We have used “Remi” on the ranch for all aspects, including checking pastures, riding feedlot pens, cattle drives, branding, and doctoring in the pasture. “Remi” has a quiet, laid-back personality, with not a mean bone in his body. For the last couple years, he has been our main turn back horse at the cutting and cow-horse shows. He hauls very well, stands tied, and doesn’t get worried when taken off the place. He has been in multiple ranch rodeos and calf scrambles. He is a first choice when it comes to needing solid minded, gentle horse for an inexperienced rider, or when we want to give our young daughter a ride. Remi has been on numerous mountain trips. Week long pack outs with the teams, and wagons, to just day rides. He crosses rivers and bogs without hesitation, and will climb whatever slope or mountain you point him at. Bareback and doubling is no problem. Snaffle, shank bit or just the halter will do for “Remi.” Good with time off, and comes willing to please every time. “Remi” is truly versatile!
