Shiners Whiz Girl

They say big things can come in small packages, Moon is here to prove that saying true all day long. This gritty 14.1hh, 4yr old mare has the heart of a lion and all of the try in the world, there is no bottom, no quit, and she will never leave you hanging with a job half done. Moon was professionally started by and spent 6 months with Greg Michelson as a 2 and 3 year old in reining training before spending part of the summer working community pasture, and then the fall working feedlot. Moon tracks a cow, has tons of run, is strong to the horn, and a wow factor stop on top of it all. She is currently being brought along as a heel horse and shows huge promise as a tough competitor. Moon is the type to catch you out on a half section, she loves her people, loves being in work and fussed over, and has no vices. She ties, hauls, adapts to new places easily, is quiet to trim and shoe, as well as tack up and just in general handle. Moon is a forward ride, soft to the bridle and leg with tons of adjustability, with no funny business whatsoever. She has never offered to buck, bolt, or rear, does well with time off and does well in consistent work, has never been herd bound or fussy to handle. Lower in the pecking order, she has lived in big herds as well as been stalled, and been used to babysit weanlings, Moon is not marish or cranky.

Moon is sired by Shiners Lena Dust (LTE $91k and PE $22K+), a name that needs no introduction in the Alberta reining circuit, out of KMJ Purdy Whiz by BL Whiz Kid (LTE $50k and PE $95k), there are proven money earners top and bottom. Compete on her, ranch on her, then raise some of the nicest minded, athletic colts off her you could possibly want.
