Spade

Spade is a 3 year old 15’3 home raised gelding that has spent a couple months driving on both sides of the sleigh and wagon. Spade is super easy to catch, always the first horse to the gate. Even though he is big and young, Spade is a gentle giant. He is great with his feet and has been hobbled. I’ve put a couple months on him in an arena this fall/winter and the rest has been around home doing trail rides and a couple cutter rallies. You can ride him bareback, stand on his saddle, and slide off his butt with ease, he has no buck or bolt. Spade is confident with a rope and is unfaced from the noisy UFA flags. He neck reins and moves off your leg nicely. Spade moves out very smooth for a draft cross, He would excel in ranch work as he is athletic and smart enough to get the job done while being sound minded enough to be satisfied with walking the whole day. I’ve used Spade to pony colts during the first while of them being saddled. He is a confident horse and takes everything I throw his way with no problems.
