Description
Tatonka is a very easy going, friendly and laid back horse. Easy keeping, sound and sure footed horse. He is easy to trim, shoe, trailer, drench and handle in all aspects. Due to his easy nature, he is suitable for anyone to handle on ground and under saddle and is easy to catch. He is happy to be ridden alone or in company and gets along well with other horses in a herd. It doesn’t matter whether Tatonka is ridden every day or once a year, he will maintain to some willing and responsive mannerisms. He is very easy to ride, responding well to both leg and hand aids. He is great to neck rein and ride in a long loose contact but will also collect up nicely when asked to go on the bit. He is not a spooky horse and easily adapts to new environments and is great for moving stock. He was Amber Marshall’s father, Tim Fleming on Heartlands main horse for 12 years.
