Walker

Walker is a 6 year old, 16hh Belgium Quarter horse cross. He has proven to be a very well behaved gentle guy. We halter break and work colts with Walker. He’s crossed rivers, climbed mountains, he lopes across a pasture with ease, he’s soft and collects himself in a very proper manner, this horse catches everyone’s eye. His movement is incredible, he will take you in any direction with ease. He’s spending time in a feed lot this winter learning how to work cows and rope. He’s a very handy horse to have around, he’s the perfect fit for a ranch horse, mountain horse and trail horse, he’s extremely versatile.
This horse does more than turn heads when people walk by, he turns on the forehand, turns on the haunches, he works off the leg, neck reins, has an amazing stop and backs up with ease.
He stands to be mounted and stands for the farrier. Walker is easy to catch, he sees you coming and meets you half way.
Although we don’t feel Walker is ready to be a beginners horse, he has seen multiple riders and would fit an experienced intermediate rider.
We have always felt safe on him, he’s never left me stranded. This horse quickly became one of our favourites. Out of the 3 consecutive top gun horse sales we have been to, we feel Walker is the nicest horse we had the pleasure to offer.
Walker is low maintenance, with great confirmation and good solid feet. You can kick him out to pasture for three months pull him in give him a quick trim and lope across the pasture. We can’t say enough good things about Walker, if there was three words we would use to describe this horse it would be intelligent, uncomplicated and reliable.
